Aquiesse Alpine Meadow Large Candle

This fragrance is not at all what I was expecting. From the name and the description, I imagined a light, spring-like scent the smelled of fresh cut grass, blue skies and wild flowers. Instead, I was transported to a ski lodge in the mountains. Out of the shower comes a freshly washed, very sexy man, still smelling of soap from the shower and newly applied cologne. It's a musky scent with lots of spicy pepper and fir notes. It's a great fall/winter scent. If you are looking for a "boyfriend" candle (making your home smell like you have a boyfriend when you don't), this is your ticket. Fragrance intensity 3/5. Burn quality 5/5.

Ok, I wish I had liked this more then I did. How could a fragrance with accords such as dewy grass, wild fruit, alpine floral, mountain pepper, balsam fir and light musk turn out like this? I can only liken the scent of this to men's deodorant. This smells JUST like my bar of Degree (Clinical protection no-less!) antiperspirant that I have sitting on my bathroom sink. There is nothing special about what could have been amazing with the listed accords. I don't understand how this went the way it did? Seriously, pick up some deodorant and then smell this...you will TOTALLY understand what I am talking about. That said...if you like that kind of thing...go for it. This didn't work for me though.
