Candle Review

This was a great gifting candle that I gave to an aunt of mine who is obsessed with Italy. My mother's side of the family is 100% Italian and they are intrigued by any scents remotely Italian. I got this because of the strong notes of Sweet Basil, which is commonly used in our family in cooking. The sweet basil in this is amazing. My aunt keeps this in her kitchen and says she cooks with this burning some nights. She adores it! I loved the cold scent of it. The basil was the strongest scent to me but you could definitely smell the rosemary in it. The cilantro may have been drowned out a tiny bit to me by the sweet basil-I have a hard time telling two similar herbal scents apart sometimes-but it was overall a very crisp, fresh, herb inspired candle. This was a huge hit for my aunt. She has been to Tuscany and other various parts of Italy and she said this reminded her a lot of her Italian family members garden and helping them cook dinner on her stay with them. I felt like that was a huge compliment to this candle and I am very glad I got this for her!

Summer In A Jar

This candle smells like late summer in the herb garden. It is fresh and herbaceous. Scents of rosemary and basil with a little thyme. Truly heavenly.
