10" True Bayberry Candles

"A bayberry candle, burned to the socket, puts luck in the home, food in the larder, and gold in the pocket."

Bayberry candles are made from the wax of the bayberry plant that grows in New England and in the Southeast. They are traditionally burned on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve for good luck for the coming year. Light your bayberry candle in the morning and allow it to burn down to the socket of your candle holder. Maybe good luck will be yours for the coming year. Don't allow the flame to come into contact with a glass holder. These bayberry tapers are made with true bayberry wax blended with beeswax for added strength. No color or scent has been added. You may see a light white coating that is a natural tendency for these all-natural candles. You can buff them back to a sheen with a soft cloth. These 10" hand-made bayberry candles are sold by the pair (2 candles) and connected by the wick.
