Jason Wu Orchid Rain Candle

Orchid Rain is so elegant. Everything about this is gorgeous. The porcelain container and the gold lid are exquisite. There is just no way you could throw this vessel out once the candle is gone. It's just far too beautiful. The fragrance is fresh and feminine with a a gorgeous floral edge to it. I think the fruits come through strongest in this but the neroli blossom and orchids really soften this and mature the overall throw. Love this candle!

Orchid Rain reflects the modern florals Laura Slatkin is so famous for creating. This fragrance reminds me of the dew drop note in her Blue Garden candle. Jason Wu Orchid Rain is another watery floral, but the subtle fruity notes and coconut add a welcome warmth and character to the scent without distracting from the clean floral essence. For me the most prominent notes are dew drop, orchid and blond woods. This fragrance creates and elegant, fresh and warm ambiance - perfect for relaxing or entertaining.

Orchid Rain is one of my favorite new floral based blends and truly the most surprising scent of 2012 to me. I was instantly blown away by the cold throw. The orchid and neroli blossom are front and center but aren't cloying and over powering like some floral scents can tend to be. The pomegranate and coconut add a welcome edge to the scent that gives it a very summery feel. And the throw... The throw is DIVINE! My whole house was filled with the beauty of this within minutes of lighting. Orchid Rain is elegant and refined. It comes across in the most luxurious way. I love the watery tone this candle takes on mid-burn. It feels perfect for the current spring/summer months but I can totally see this making a dreary-cold fall or winter vivid and fresh. I can't get over the exquisite porcelain container that houses this fragrance. The vessel is stunning. The floral pattern is feminine and flirty and SCREAMS Jason Wu at first sight. The gold metal lid is heavy and useful. I love lids! I always rave about a lid. They are one of my favorite additions to any candle. Not only can they be used to snuff out a flame but they keep the wick dust free when not in use. LOVE THAT!!!! Orchid Rain is a MUST HAVE for anyone looking for a beautifully feminine, fresh floral with a burst of fruit in it. I am head over heels in love with this one! Nest Fragrances has done it again! This is a true masterpiece.
