This Jonathan Adler Hashish candle is scandalously scented with black currant, green apple, wormwood, patchouli and moss. Earthy but couture - this one is safe to inhale. When the candle burns out the porcelain vessel makes the perfect stash box! This 10.6oz candle is 3.75” high and has 2 wicks.

complex and worth it

I assigned a 5-star rating because I really truly love this candle. Scent: this is a very complex scent. I burned mine mostly in the evenings, through the summer months. It felt appropriate to the season (even in LA) yet, I also found it perfect on a cooler rainy day as well. It has a very strong throw, and the best i can describe it is that it is earthy, kinda dark, relaxing, and sexy but in a cool sort of boho-masculine style. Quality: The two-wicks are perfect. the wax burns very cleanly and evenly. I actually think I got much longer burn time than what the description suggests. What I love about this candle (and all of Jonathan Adler's candles, in my experience) is how cleanly the wick bases/residual wax (which is minimal, by the way) are wiped away effortlessly to allow for perfect reusability of the containers. This one, in particular, is great because it is ceramic and has a lid. I appreciate the artistic aesthetics of it and I even reused the box for storage and as a bookend because the design is cool. I took a chance with this candle, despite the $68 price tag. I'm so glad I did. It is a higher-priced candle, but it made me extremely happy to burn it and I do think the price is a testament to its quality. I will be buying a new one soon, especially with it getting warmer outside. I just wanted to give it a proper review, since I personally do not understand how it has such an average rating.
