K. Hall Candle - Moss

We actually have one of these sitting in the entryway to our house and I throw spare change into the jar, which still has about half the wax left in it. It's just not a fun candle or scent to burn. There is no throw to it at all. It quickly became a junk-container for our home. Wish there was more potency to this blend.

This blend, in my opinion, is very synthetic smelling. Nice packaging but that's about all I really enjoyed. I did get a lot of soot as well even though I am an avid wick trimmer. On a positive note, the scent throw was nice and strong and consistent. A lot of candles will behave inconsistently as they burn down - not this one.

I am a huge fan of the Cassis & Myrrh scent by K. Hall and wanted to give another scent from the candle line a try so I went with Moss. Something about the description really enticed me. I thought this scent would be way more fresh and clean smelling. I wanted to feel a more forest-like vibe coming from the aroma but instead this came off far more perfume-like to me. I didn't really catch a big throw from this one either. I would give it a 1 out of 5 in that regard. I wish there were more tangy, tart accords involved in the fragrance. I do still want to try more from K. Hall because Cassis & Myrrh is just AMAZING to me. I think I just need a scent with more life to it then this.
