K. Hall Candle - Peony

Normally not a HUGE fan of Peony but I liked this blend. I like this the most of the Peony blends that are out though. I am eager to try Nest's upcoming Peony fragrance. I know that is going to blow them all out of the water. This is soft, floral and very feminine. Some of my family members who sniffed this told me they disliked it and thought it was a bit too floral. I kind of felt the same. It's just for a specific mood. Not sure I would go all out for this one.

Peony is a romantic and feminine fragrance and K. Hall's interpretation is unadulterated. It's a slightly heady and somewhat sweet fragrance, yet comes across with a delicate nature and grace. While old-fashioned, it isn't powdery or grandmotherly. The cold throw is far greater than the warm throw. It is not an overwhelming fragrance but rather softens the room in a relaxed and elegant way. The K. Hall Peony diffuser would be a welcome addition to any powder room or guest room.

This is a nice scent. I smell more of a medium slightly spicy rose than peony. Sort of a wild rose scent. I like it. Just not what I expected for peony.
