I am utterly conflicted on this fragrance. I would really give this 3 stars but the vessel and packaging alone is worthy of 5 stars. This vessel is hands down one of my favorites of the last couple years. I LOVE the soft-white and the mixture of textured bumps and vertical lines. Stunning!!! The box it comes in SCREAMS beach to me! I love the look. Very summer in the Hamptons. So lush.
But, I just can't get past the coconut in this scent. I can honestly say that coconut is one of the few scents to make me feel queasy when burning so it is hard for me to truly RAVE about this scent when I catch a ton of coconut during burning. The melon and woods as well as the floral seem to be a bit more subtle. I wish this actually had more of a sandy, oceanic feel to it. I think a TON of people will adore and go crazy over this though!
I am just one of the few people who hates coconut. Otherwise, this is an amazing fragrance-experience and people should snatch it up ASAP!! :)

you MUST have one of these, and light it all summer. If you do not, you MUST have one of these so you feel like you do. The lovely container will go perfectly with any beach/summery decor, and the fragrance will take you right to the seaside. You will fall in love with it.

I took the time to sniff all of Nest's line while in store, and Beach was the biggest surprise of the day. I typically stay away from ocean or "shoreline" themed candles as they all smell like Davidoff Cool Water, but Nest's Beach is a different interpretation, very gritty. Salt, with some seaweed, sand and grit. The vessel is actually spiky and hurt my hand to hold. The only downside is that I find this one prohibitively expensive compared to the other Nest candles.
