Paddywax Lavender Candle

I am normally not a fan of lavender scented candles. I feel like Lavender has always been used far too much for candle scents and the scent of it usually reminds me of the drugstore brands that you see everywhere. It's almost become far too common of a scent to me to actually find joy in. The same goes for vanilla scents. But, as I have matured I have found that it's the quality of the candle and the additions that the candle makers blend with the scent you are "sick of" or normally wouldn't like that will turn it around and create something new and beautiful for you to enjoy. That goes for Paddywax's Lavender. I love the mix of fresh lavender with the ylang ylang and sage. The Ylang Ylang adds a sexiness to the candle that would otherwise be lacking without it. The sage adds a bit of a crisp edge to it. I really like the cold smell of this candle. It has a nice delicate, meditative feel to it. Definitely my favorite lavender based fragrance that I have ever burned. Well worth the price!
