When burning, the wax liquefies rapidly, with a quick and mighty diffusion of the fragrance. Rigaud candles burn evenly, without leaving any deposit on the glass and they do not tunnel, unlike hard wax candles.

I had a small travel tin of this a while back. I love that Rigaud creates fragrances that, despite you only having a small 20 hour burn time tin, give off such a potent, long lasting throw. The Cythere scent was amazing to me and I am saddened that I haven't gotten around to getting another one in the recent months since first burning it. The scent is perfectly spicy and lush. The floral notes of Jasmine, geranium and violet are very faint and entwined perfectly with the spicy notes of cinnamon & clove. The scent is grounded by the earthy complexity of the patchouli, musk and sandalwood...which give it a very sexy, refined edge. I also really loved that this fragrance was given more character from the currant & lemon essence that comes through. This scent was so incredibly complex and mysterious to me. There were so many different accords that came through and made this small PERFECTION despite it being a small, short-lived travel tin. Would love to own this in the full size one day. It's gorgeous! Perfectly spicy and sensual!
