Tocca's latest fine fragrance launch was inspired by the love story of Italian director Federico Fellini and Giulietta Masina. The famed movie-maker's romance with his actress wife was one for the ages. This new Eau de Parfum scent carries her namesake and draws from the ethereal scents reminiscent of the couple's trips to the island of Corsica where the two dreamt up the director's visionary tales. Giulietta has top notes of bulgarian rose, ylang ylang, green apple and pink tulips. This Tocca eau de parfum has middle notes of Lily of the Valley, iris pallida, vanilla orchid, lilac and heliotrope. Base notes of cedar wood, musk, amber, sandalwood round out this Tocca perfume. 1.7 fl oz/50 ml Tocca's perfumers have re-interpreted their most popular scents to create a breathtaking family of unique fine fragrances. Combining elements from Tocca's classic scents with unexpected yet complementary notes, their eau de parfum are beautifully unique and yet quintessentially Tocca.

Clean sheets and spring flowers

I'm not really a floral perfume fan (give me earthy, woody, incensey scents any day; I'm not a particularly feminine women when it comes to my taste in perfumes), but I have to say that this is a very pretty scent, if not really one that I would personally wear. Giulietta is a soft floral blend that reminds me of clean laundry for some reason. I think it may be reminding me of the smell of clean sheets hung on the clothesline in the yard, a familiar scent from my childhood, but with a breezy floral note sharing the spotlight with the clean linen.

This perfume smells like fresh linen with just a hint of flowers to it. It's not a very overpowering scent, just very light and flirty. The lily of the valley accords are subtle and delicate and they blend perfectly with the light sandalwood notes. They seem to "ground" the scent in combination with all of the other elements. This is one of those perfect summer/spring scents that would compliment any woman. Lovely.
