Tocca Kyoto (Kinmokusei Flower) Candle

I live in Japan and my favorite time of the year is when the kinmokusei trees are in bloom. The beautiful orange blossoms cover the trees and fill the air with the most beautiful perfume. I am always sad when the rain comes and sweeps away the blossoms. I found this candle and ordered it hoping it would remind me of the scent. After I received my package I can say it is wonderful! I had it burning the other day and a friend stopped in, smelled the candle burning in the house and knew immediately what it was. Fabulous candle

As my previous reviewer stated, Kyoto will make you feel like a geisha. It truly will! This is one of the best Apricot blends I have ever experienced. I liken it a bit to Voluspa's Apricot & Aprilia. This is a bit more sweet in my opinion. I really love how flirty and gorgeous the fruit and floral are combined. It's rare that I enjoy florals but when they are paired with the the accompanying fruit or wood base note it can be MAGICAL! This is also the kind of scent that doesn't overpower a room, and (of course) the packaging is stylish and subtle. Tocca is amazing at creating girly, feminine and flirty scents. This is no exception!

Nothing in the world smells like Kyoto. Gorgeous florals mixing with a hint of apricot and fruit is so nostalgic and exquisite. It's like you just walked into a scene from Memoirs of a Geisha (lol). This candle is natural and rustic. The sweet of the floral is so bold, and it has a soft side at the same time. It's romantic and peaceful. A perfect fragrance for a spring day or summer night. This is one of my top Tocca scents and I would recommend this to anyone.
