Tocca Stella (Blood Orange) Eau de Parfum

I wore this perfume for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I love orange fragrances but this was more than that, it was more floral than I would have expected. Quite lovely and sweet. It would make a great summer scent, very sultry. The only downside was that this fragrance didn't seem to last as long as Cleopatra did on me. By midday I couldn't smell it anymore. I asked other people if they could smell it and they couldn't either. I think it would be a good idea to get the solid perfume to re-apply midway through the day. But altogether a very nice scent and excellent quality perfume.

The Stella perfume is fantastic. Sweet, bold, blood orange will give you a boost of class and elegance. This fragrance is so potent and lasts for hours. It can also be worn during the day or evening—Fresh and sweet during the day and romantic and flirty at night. The heavy orange is accented by just the perfect subtle amount of spice and sweet honey undertones. A gorgeous perfume of fantastic quality!

While this scent is described as having predominant blood orange notes, be aware that it is not your typical "citrus" scent. It is actually more of a watery floral with very brief citrus accords. The aquatic notes in it remind me a lot of Ralph Lauren Blue, but this scent is not quite as fresh and marine-like as Blue; Stella is a bit more soft and feminine, and is very feminine. What is interesting, though, is that both the lotion and the hand cream smell very different from the EDP spray. They are very fresh and citrusy, with almost no floral notes. If you are a blood orange fan, you really get it full blast in the lotion. It smells juicy and yummy. And when the lotion and EDP are layered, they blend together so beautifully and smell amazing.
