I absolutely love this candle. I received as a gift and I am going to order another for myself and also get some as gifts. I think the fragrance is amazing!

I was very surprised at the negative reviews as it's my very favorite candle! The Venetian in Vegas spent a small fortune developing a scent for their hotel and casino. Fleurs de Fete is as close as it comes. I find it light and airy. I've given so many as gifts and it never fails that I'm asked where I purchased as they want to get a personal supply with extras to use as gifts.

I have to agree with Caitlin on her assesment of Fleurs De Fete. This reminds me a lot of an old ladies perfume. It's far too cloying and heavy for me. There isn't anything light or pretty about it. In fact, I always find myself sniffing this at the local boutique that sells Voluspa near me and I always HOPE it's going to smell different but it doesn't. It always smells like Old lady. Granny went wild with the perfume at the nursing home! That is what this smells like to me! Not cool. One of the most dissapointing Voluspa scents I have experienced. Sad.

Fleurs de Fete unfortunately was a huge disappointment for me =( I was hoping the Calla Lily and narcissus would come out with the buttery accent, but unfortunately all I got from this blend was rose overload! It reminded me of a grandmother's perfume, it wasn't a fresh and light rose, but an overbearing powdery rose. It's a beautiful tin and I was hoping to get more of an abundance of crisp, clean white floral from it. I would still recommend it if you love rose scents, but it just didn't do it for me.
