Voluspa Maison Noir 12oz Candle - Ambre Lumiere

This has been burning in my room the last few days. One of my favorite Voluspa fragrances. I don't really ever wind up buying them for myself but my son will let me burn his to try them out and this one was hands down one of my favorite scents. Very sweet and almost gourmand. I adored experiencing this. Made my room smell like I was baking something cake-like in it. Yummy!

A very deep sexy and warm scent! Great to unwind with...Maybe a bath?!?! In love!

I went out of my comfort zone when I got this one, as I'm not a patchouli person. It is not the pungent 'hippy' smell I expected. It's very relaxing and is an amazing BATH candle. All the steam and heat mixes in with the relaxing smells of vanilla and spicy amber-You'll still smell the aroma the next morning when you enter the bathroom! ahhhhh.

I love this fragrance!!! Ambre Lumiere is one of the most romantic, dark, sensual candles I have tried in a while. The benzoin resin comes through in such a relaxing, comforting way. I love how warm this candle feels when it starts filling the room with it's scent. The patchouli isn't as pungent as a lot of patchouli fragrances can come across. Paired with the resin of the vanilla it makes for a perfect unwinding from a long day candle. I adore the mysteriousness of this fragrance. It is truly beautiful. This is a perfect bedroom candle. I have kept it on my nightstand next to my bed and find that this truly helps me relax and let my tension from the day drift out of me. Definitely will be purchasing this one again!! Wonderful comfort scent and also will be a favorite during the fall season.
