I absolutely adore this fragrance by Voluspa. Very well done! A perfect balance between fresh spruce and balsam with comforting sugar. If you liked Voluspa Frosted Pinecone you'll love this. This is not a Christmas scent - it's perfect through the entire winter. I highly recommend the Corta Maison or Petite Maison containers. The light shines through the gaps in the silver vermeil on the inside of the container creating the most stunning effect!!! Just gorgeous. I also love the lid on this one and use it as a base when the candle is burning. Be careful it doesn't slide off, though. (That hasn't happened to me, I'm just warning.) When not in use it's the most beautiful jar. Fragrance intensity 4/5. Burn quality 5/5.

I have fond memories of vacationing as a child in a mountain town set in a pine forest. As soon as we arrived we'd roll down our car windows to enjoy the fragrance of our surroundings. I especially like to burn candles that evoke these memories around the holidays and last season "Monterey Pine" by Acquisse became my winter favorite. I decided to try something new this season and am glad I did. I think this candle is a little more complex, although I still love Monterey Pine, and I definitely notice a cool undertone. Not overbearing as some holiday candles
can be. Beautiful packaging.
