Votivo Glorioso Candle

This is my least favorite scent from Votivo. Yuck, it is just too weird and I don't find it pleasant at all!!! Sorry Votivo - this is not a winner in my book.

My mother loves this candle. I got it for her as a gift a while ago and she was nuts over it. I hadn't smelled it prior to ordering it but felt that Votivo did a great job with the potency of this one. It is extremely fragrant and actually quite odd. It's one of those scents you keep grabbing and smelling to try and figure out what you are catching whiffs of. I found the mingling of the fruity accords of lime and lemon to mix rather strangely with the florals of this one. The lily of the valley and Violet only come through in tiny doses yet it lingers strangely long after the candle has been put out. The amber adds a nice warmth to the candle but it is fleeting because of the celery root's cool crisp edge that almost instantly hits you. Votivo candles are always super-super strong and very potent. This is no exception. My mother keeps this one in the kitchen so I am lucky enough to enjoy it when she burns it. Ahhhh, the joys of living at home with mama :)
